Here’s another hotel oddity. The Marine Plaza Hotel in Mumbai got it a little wrong. The nice fabric shower curtain is on the inside, and gets soaked. The clear plastic curtain liner hangs on the outside.
Is there some logic I’m not getting? Are all the bathrooms done like this?
I’m not complaining—the hotel was otherwise nice enough. Just… the odd things I find in hotels! It never ceases to amuse me.
Oh, you’re right Dianne! It’s maddening when the water runs out because of a stupid mistake. Also, when the edge of the tub is slanted wrong, directing the water out instead of into the tub.
Just a maid too stupid to hang a shower curtain correctly. My pet peeve is those shower curtains with the grommets that thread onto the rod. Nine times out of ten they are started incorrectly and the ends of the curtain face out instead of in. Then the water is directed to the floor outside the tub. Grrr.
I don’t think I could have resisted switching them!
