Acoustic and luminous

Blue tie shoes on the streets of DartmouthMaybe it’s a good idea to change the subject. Too much Barcelona negativity. So how ’bout, instead, I share a sign I saw at Cagliari airport (Sardinia) over the baggage conveyor belt? Faithfully translated from the Italian, with the Italian:

ATTENZIONE AL SEGNALE ACUSTICO LUMINOSO DI PREAVOISO MOVIMENTO MASTRO.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE ACOUSTIC AND LUMINOUS SIGNAL FOREWARNING TAPE MOVEMENT.

I’m off to Stockholm shortly. Perhaps I can try the Leopardis’ Sardinia. But then… I do like meals at home. I’ll probably just cook. And once, for sure, a dinner of räkor.

Ah Sardinia. There’s my favourite restaurant in Stockholm run by a family from there. Leopardi. Highly recommended. I’d love to go someday. I’ve heard it’s mostly mile long yachts on the northern coast. ;)

Reminds me of a sign written in English in an elevator in 1966 Tokyo. “Do not push buttons which are not good for you.”

We have tried to live by this philosophy ever since.
