Hotel oddity

To wash, but not to dream…
A full-length, fully-opening glass window in the marble shower allows me an expansive view while washing. I can see the bedroom, the tv, the husband, the balcony, palm trees, the ocean, the sailboats…and the room service man picking up our breakfast tray.

  1. I’ve had a few like that. Seems to be the new rage in upper-class hotels. My favorite oddity was in Seattle’s Hotel 1000, where the water filled the tub in a perfect tubular-looking stream from the ceiling! No one told me that, and the first time I turned on the faucet, it startled the h—out of me. Hotel admitted later the bellman should have told me when I checked in.

have fun and travel safe, my dear.
