Pockets and purses

Posted by Bambi Vincent on Mar 23 2008 | thieves, travel

Pockets and purses and those who pick them. I’ve posted two new pages: Pocketology 101 and Purseology 101. I’m thinking of adding video to them. Then maybe some day I’ll write advanced courses.

One Response to “Pockets and purses”

Maybe this scenario is purseology 102: A woman comes up to me in Bologna and thrusts a newspaper in front of me, right over my purse which is on a cross-chest strap and hanging in front of my stomach nice & close to my body. “Buy this paper!”. Her real aim was to reach into my purse while it was hidden beneath the paper. She was violating my personal space, which got my guard up so nothing happened. After that, I tried to remember to actually use the little hook on this purse that secures the zipper(!)
